Fresno County Department of Behavioral Health: Media training for racial and health equity

Strategic engagement with the news media is a powerful way for health advocates to reach decision-makers while activating allies and building public support toward health equity goals. Over the past two days, BMSG worked with the Fresno County Department of Behavioral Health to successfully communicate about racial and health equity. The staff worked hard to enhance their speaking and interviewing skills, using values-focused language to craft worthwhile messages.
