Sacramento County Public Health Department: Strategic communication for public health

Berkeley Media Studies Group trainers Shaddai Martinez Cuestas and Rosaura Wardsworth traveled to Sacramento, CA to deliver an in-person spokesperson training for staff at the Sacramento Public Health Department. Participants learned how to incorporate an overall strategy to frame the role of public health, to craft strategic messages that address health equity, and how to deliver messages in high pressure settings.
