Imperial County Public Health Department: Communicating effectively about health across Imperial County

BMSG delivered a two-part training series for members of the Imperial County Public Health Department. The first one was a 2-hour virtual workshop open to all health department staff during which participants learned about strategic communication and media advocacy as narrative-change for racial and health equity. The second was an all-day training for approximately 30 participants; the first half was designed to help all department leaders develop and deliver effective messages to key decisionmakers; the second half was specific to the communications needs of department leaders.
