Strategic consultation for Bay Area Regional Health Inequities Initiative (BARHII)
BMSG worked with BARHII to build the staff and members’ capacity for media advocacy, including assessing news coverage of BARHII and key BARHII issues, conducting media advocacy trainings, advising the Data and Built Environment Working Groups, commissioning linguistic analyses of key BARHII terminology, providing strategic consultation on op-eds, letters to the editor, and story pitches produced by BARHII, and convening the Public Information Officers from participating BARHII health departments.
