California Department of Public Health: Communicating effectively about public health

BMSG trainers Shaddai Martinez Cuestas and Rosaura Wardsworth delivered “Communicating effectively about public health,” a two-day in-person training to build message development capacity and spokesperson skills among the California Department of Public Health’s communications staff. The goal was for staff to learn how to develop and deliver proactive, culturally competent, personalized, coordinated and equitable public health messages.
